  I was staying in the village with my family and as we didn't want to cook, nor did we wish to venture out on a wet night we decided to stay in and have a take away. The menu was just what anyone would need and we had fish and chips and burger and chips. The fish was moist and succulent in Tribute batter and the burger was a big proper beef burger. We struggled to eat it all but we did just manage it. It is a little pricey compared with a proper take away but this is cooked from a pub and the only one in the village so can demand the price. I have no trouble in recommending this take away again and when we next come down to stay in this village we will use this place again without hesitation.

  Lunch on Saturday and Sunday Roast the following day. Really good food both days. Dog friendly and good service. Great pub.
